The Project Sponsor could also be called the project's Business Manager. He/she should be accountable for realising the benefits of the project, in other words be primarily accountable for the success of the project's product. The project manager has enough on their plate just to bring the project in on time, within budget and to the required quality.

Cape Town City Council has release some reports on the stadium's cost on condition that ProjectPro does not publish the information.
In December 2011 ProjectPro made its second application for the cost report in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act. Council have 30 days in which to provide the information.
